The daughter of an Air Force pilot, Trisha Webster grew-up traveling the world, moving 52 times in 17 years. Living in every type of housing from a steel quonset hut in Guam, and a thatched cottage in England (while attending Marymount International School), to a split-level in NJ and a roof-top garret in Paris, she finally put down roots in a brick rowhouse in the South Slope in 1978. She shares this sweetly detailed home with her husband and office mate at Brooklyn Properties, Michael Wickes.

At the age of 13, Trisha was discovered, by chance, by Eileen Ford of The Ford Modeling Agency. She soon moved to Manhattan and eventually signed with Wilhelmina Models. “I was one of the fortunate few in a very competitive business to enjoy 40+ years of a highly successful & lucrative modeling career”. Being well-known in the industry, and the fact that her agency insured her body with Lloyd’s of London for a million dollars, landed her on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, along with guest appearances on Oprah, CNN’s “Women In The News”, Live With Regis & Kathie Lee, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, and The Today Show.

Some of Trisha’s credits include 2 covers of Harpers Bazaar, photo spreads in Mademoiselle, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, plus tons of photos in Avon & other catalogues, and hundreds of TV commercials. “In a business that demands perfection and attention to detail,” says Trisha, “working with photographer greats like Richard Avedon, Hiro, and Irving Penn, taught me about the importance of doing the job right the first time, so that clients continue to seek you out again, and refer you to others. I find that the same work ethic applies to real estate as well!”

Trisha, a member of SAG-AFTRA & Equity, started an Equity theatre company in the 70’s (with the support of Joe Papp of the Public Theatre) called “Shelter West”, located on the upper westside. She studied acting with Wynn Handman at The American Place Theatre.

In 1986, Lifetime (ABC-Hearst) asked Trisha to develop, write, produce and appear in 12 infomercials entitled “Footnotes” that ran “piggyback” with Kinney Shoe commercials for 2 years. During this same period she wrote a monthly column, “At Your Fingertips” for Beauty Handbook, produced a video on modeling, and was on the Panel of Advisors for The Doctor’s Book of Home Remedies.

In the early 1990’s Trisha Webster negotiated, and signed exclusive contracts with Revlon, and later with Del Labs (Sally Hansen) and Dr. Scholl’s, to be their Spokesperson. Media tours, on their behalf, took her back on the road again, making personal appearances on morning “talk radio” & TV shows across the country.

Joining Brooklyn Properties as a Salesperson in 1997 Trisha saw the the need and importance of marketing real estate on the Internet, which at that time was an under-utilized tool. So, using her background skills, she developed and created brooklynproperties.com. She was the Webmaster through May 2018, and continues to take all the “for sale” property photos you see on the site, and in the windows of all the Brooklyn Properties offices.

Trisha works closely with the Brooklyn Properties Creative Development Team division, helping to plan marketing & promotional strategy for new condo projects. As an Associate Broker at Brooklyn Properties, Trisha is completely knowledgeable about every listing, and you’ll find her approach direct, unblinking, and sincere.

“You did a fantastic job Trisha, particularly nailing the market dead on. We truly appreciate the compassion and professionalism you and Michael brought to us during a very difficult time.” A.P

“We want to thank you and Michael for getting us a great, over asking, price for our house – all cash no less – and for making the sale process pain-free. It was comforting knowing we were in good hands 3,000 miles away.” B. & B. T.

” This is the eighth property we have purchased or sold and you are definitely the best agent with whom we have had the pleasure of transacting business.” H.C

” Out of all the NYC brokers we have dealt with over the last 5 months, you stand head and shoulders above the rest. You have been honest, forthright, and helpful. L.S.
